This vintage model 1 ARP Omni synthesizer belonged to my dad who owned it since he bought it new in the 1970s. It's been sitting around unused for a long time, and he decided it's time to part ways with it. It's in fair cosmetic condition with lots of dirt and sticker residue all over the chassis, and one key is cracked - see pics.
Several slider caps are missing, and the XLR out on the back looked kinda disgusting. I couldn't get any of the string section or other functions like the waveform enhancer to work, and the synth section plays at a very low volume. I had to turn the small test amplifier I used with this all the way up to hear anything, and even then it was quiet.More noticeable was a thumping sound that happened any time a key was pressed. Not sure what could be causing that, but know that as it is, it's not in working condition and will need repair. Might make a good restoration project, or you can use it for parts. Will include a service manual. If you have any questions or comments about this, feel free to message me.
