Up for sale is a black binocular Tiyoda Model L microscope. The Model L was based on the famous Carl Zeiss L-stand, and for this reason, some (but not all) Zeiss L-stand parts are interchangeable with it. This Tiyoda Model L has a Zeiss L-stand mechanical stage, a Zeiss L-stand Achromatic condenser N. 1.0 a Zeiss L-stand swing-out substage iris diaphragm, and a mirror. This microscope also has a Tiyoda inclined binocular head with a built-in 1.5x magnification factor. It comes with the following objectives: Carl Zeiss 3x; Tiyoda 10x N. 0.30; Tiyoda 40x N. 0.65 0.17; and Tiyoda HI 100X oil immersion, N.

(The 10x, 40x and 100x objectives are parfocal). And the following pairs of oculars: Tiyoda high eyepoint KW10x; Zeiss Mobimi K7x; and Zeiss Mobimi K15x. Included also is a wooden case (built for a Zeiss L-stand, but which fits this microscope & parts listed above) with lock and key. Though used, the microscope and its components are in excellent mechanical, optical and cosmetic condition. The case is in very good condition with some damage along the bottom of its back side (see photos).
