Scott Audio Analyzer Model 830Z (FOR PARTS OR POSSIBLE REPAIR)

This extremely rare 1978 Scott 830Z Audio Analyzer. The 830Z is a versatile instrument which can be used to measure sound pressure levels and frequency response and distribution in a home or professional sound system.

By inputting the oscillator signal to your sound system, the microphone can be used to measure the amplitude of different frequencies and locations in your listening space and displayed on the 830Z so you can optimize the sound. I turned it on and it powered up. While turning different knobs I was able to get many red lights to flash. It may work perfectly but I don't know. It looks like it was kept in a clean environment.

The 830Z incorporates: - a 10-octave spectrum analyzer with LEB display - display sensitivity adjustment. A multi-frequency signal generator - high and low level line inputes and a speaker level input. Flat, A, or C weighting - switchable 120 or 220 volt power - 17 wide x 14.25 deep x 5.25 high - 10 pounds.

Let me first be clear here, since some buyers do not understand what "for parts or possible repair only" means...... This unit may or may not be repairable! This unit may or may not be fixable! It might or might not ever work correctly again!
