MAXXPRO MRAP 1/16 built model, full interior, hinged doors, custom parts

New build straight from the workbench. The new Trumpeter 1/16 scale MAXPRO MRAP. 17 inches long, 11.5 inches tall and nearly 8 inches wide! The International/Navistar Maxxpro means a lot to me because I've personally spent many days and nights operating one in Iraq 2009. That first hand knowledge of the truck shows in this new build. It has a full interior complete with radio wires, detailed instruments and a Blue Force Tracker.

The turret can be rotated 360 degrees and has an M2. 50 cal machine gun and a period-correct "sniper cage" on top. The radio antennae are carbon fiber.

The front wheels are poseable. The front doors have real brass hinges and steel pins. The rear door has plastic hinges and metal pins. All doors open freely and close tight.

Lots of custom painting and fabrication went into this. The paint is a custom color that I created and will continue to use on all of my OIF/OEF models. All parts can be simply inserted back onto the model with no glue needed.

The wheels DO NOT roll. This is not a toy.

This would make an excellent addition to any model collection. A perfect gift for any soldier that would appreciate the extreme detail. This would be the center of attention in a military display case or officers lounge.
