[Innovative 6-wheel machine that has carved its name into history]. The Tyrell P34 was announced on September 22, 1975 as the first 6-wheeler in F1 history and caused a sensation. The peculiar tire arrangement of four front wheels and two rear wheels was designed with the three goals of reducing air resistance, improving braking performance, and improving maneuverability.

However, it has an extremely orthodox configuration except for the four front wheels, such as the suspension attached to the triangular cross-section frame and the highly reliable Ford V8 engine. Employing proven, well-understood mechanisms enabled speedy and reliable development. Various improvements were made in the post-announcement tests, and the actual type made its debut at the Spanish GP on May 2, 1976, driven by Patrick Depailler.

On June 13th of the same year, Jody Scheckter won the 7th round of the Swedish Grand Prix, and Depailler finished 2nd, proving that the front four-wheel idea was sufficiently effective. In addition, in the Constructors' Championship that year, he finished 3rd overall after Ferrari and McLaren. The Tyrell P34, which uses a four-wheel front system, is an innovative machine that will go down in F1 history.

This is a 1/12 scale plastic model assembly kit of the Tyrrell P34, the only 6-wheeled machine in F1's long history. Length: 336mm, Width: 166mm, Height: 84mm.

It is a large-scale precision model that is well-made and worth seeing. Front and rear suspensions are movable with coil springs. Four front wheels are linked with the steering wheel using the same rack and pinion steering system as the actual vehicle. 3-liter V8 Ford DFV engine with wiring and piping for ignition cords and fuel pipes. The air funnel is made of machined aluminum with a textured finish. Removable front, side, and cockpit cowlings. Photo-etched parts include the brake disc, radiator, and nose cowl wingtips.

Photo-etched parts for seat belt buckles and pedal surfaces are included. The main slide marks are made by high quality Cartograf. Set for cars 3 and 4.
