I have used this machine until recently, but no longer have room for it in my shop. Everything needed to use the shaper is included: the vise, the crank handle, the wrench and one cutter. It has been maintained and regularly oiled. As shown in the photos, the machine is clean and shows light wear for its age. Included is a photo of a steel block that I squared up using the shaper.

I would recommend rewiring the old electrical box and insuring the machine is grounded well when installing. Also, it requires a sturdy, well-anchored mounting stand because the ram is heavy and moves rapidly. I will include a copy of the Atlas owners manual and an article on shaper operations that I downloaded from the internet.

These provide basic tool grinding and work holding information. There are also a number of discussions of shaper use and projects on the internet.
