VINTAGE 1938 ELGIN MODEL 502 TWIN BAR STREAMLINER BICYCLE FOR PARTS OR BUILD A RAT BIKE, DECO PARTS INCLUDE FRONT ELGIN FORK TUBE COLLAR WITH EMBOSSED ELGIN LOGO, HANDLEBAR NECK WITH ORIGINAL STYLIZED GROOVES, SPROCKET HUB SCHROUD PANELS RIGHT AND LEFT. KICK STAND AND COMPONENTS, FRONT FORKS SOULD BE REPAIRABLE AND IT IS NOT FROZEN. HAS ORIGINAL ANGLED SEAT POST THAT ALLOWED THE SEAT TO BE ADJUSTABLE UP, DOWN, FORWARD AND BACK. CRANK AND SPROCKET WILL NEED SOME STRAIGHTENING. LAST PICTURE IS FOR REFERENCE ONLY. GOOD SOURCE OF PARTS FOR A HARD TO FIND PRE-WAR DECO ERA BIKE OR SADDLE UP AND BUILD SOMETHING COOL OUT OF IT. EVEN IF IT IS JUST A WALL HANGER. THIS WAS SPOTTED STICKING OUT OF A HUGE PILE OF RUSTY RE-BAR AND FENCING AT OUR RECYCLING FACILITY.
