Vintage veteran 1918 harley j model gearbox, good for parts or rebuild

THIS IS A 1918 HARLEY DAVIDSON J MODEL GEARBOX. GEARBOX NUMBER IS G 5641 the letter G is for 1918 model gearboxes. THIS GEARBOX IS GOOD FOR PARTS OR REBUILD.

THERE ARE SOME PARTS MISSING. Parts are worn , the threads on the end of the main shaft are chipped and worn. Thread on shaft for hand clutch leaver is burred over. Gearbox case looks very good no cracks. Gears are worn and there are no bearings.

Kick starter has been broken and has part welded on. All parts will require a good clean. Parts have been in a box for years and some parts could be mixed up with wrong part. It is 101 years old and parts could have been changed over time. THIS GEARBOX WILL REQUIRE A FULL REBUILD. PLEASE HAVE A GOOD LOOK AT THE PHOTOS.. I will post world wide..
