TCI 1928-1931 Ford Model A Chassis Street Rod, Free Rear Disc Brake Upgrade
Total Cost Involved Engineering (TCI). Here is your chance to get a brand new 28-31 Ford Model A complete chassis. The chassis is built from brand new TCI Model A rails making it much stronger than a reworked stock frame. You have your choice of TCI's Custom Coil-over Independent Front Suspension or their tube axle front end with forged spindles, steel tie rod and drag link, multi leaf or mono leaf spring and 11 disc brakes with GM calipers.
With dropped axle chassis you have your choice of Vega steering or the new Unisteer rack and pinion. The rear suspension has a brand new Currie 9 smooth back housing and with new Currie 31 spline alloy Fast Axles with your choice of gear ratios in the open differential. It features 11 drum rear brakes and also a free upgrade to stainless steel brake lines with AN fittings and billet line clamps. Photo shows it with Optional rear sway bar. It has a steel 4-link with panhard bar.
The rear shocks are TCI's All Americans with black powder coated springs. It has a pedal assembly with a free upgrade to a 7 dual diaphragm power brake booster with a Corvette master cylinder. Stainless steel brake lines are plumbed and mounted with line clamps. A adjustable proportioning valve and residual check valves are installed for proper brake balance. It even includes a quart of silicon brake fluid and 3 quarts of rear end lube.
It has engine and transmission mounts for Chev or Ford small block engines. Note: Photos show the chassis with optional rear sway bar and chrome and stainless show chassis option.
