Output is designed to be 100w. This particular unit receives perfectly on all bands, however there is NO signal out on transmit - none that I can detect with my Kenwood receiver and my rf power meter does not move above zero. I do see a 2A increase in dc amps on my power supply, but nothing more. There is no overheating, and no burned smell anywhere. The display is perfect and this transceiver receives on all bands and modes / functions. I have not opened this up, so what is wrong is =??? Comes with microphone, two dc cables, serial cable, original manual, original box.
AT the very worst, you have a perfect display module for use with another 706. Used, tested, guaranteed to be as described.
