We have been building our swept frames for a few years now. Spec's; 8" kick in rear, 4" swoop in front. Stamped Model A front crossmember. 106" wheelbase, 3" stretch over stock A. Added length is between firewall and front crossmember.Full length taper on front rails. All joints miter cut and TIG welded. Built in our own jig and fixtures.
Our spring pads, dogbones, front frame horns etc are water jet cut. Center section includes ladder bar mounts and our adjustable transmission mount. Does not include motor mounts (shown in some pictures) We can SBC mounts, shock , Vega etc, at extra cost (very reasonable).
With this set up you can run just about any engine trans in your hot rod. Fits all Model A Ford bodies 1928-31. Roadsters, coupes, sedans, pick ups. Cars shown are our customers projects for samples.
Hemi and a four speed? The frame is designed for the front axle to have spring on top.
That's the way Henry Ford designed it. I hate to see a tie rod out front. Rear is ladder bar and transverse (aka buggy) spring. Simple strong and it works. The whole crew at Riley Automotive is dyed in the wool traditional hot rod freaks. (wool is itchy, so black t's mostly). We can and hope to supply you the rest of the parts needed to turn your new frame into a rolling chassis. Frame ships from Denver Colorado area. Welcome to call to discuss your project.
